Zucchini Cheddar Cheese Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. thinly sliced unpared zucchini, cooked and drained
2 slightly beaten egg yolks
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation

Add salt and pepper to cooked squash.
Mix next three ingredients. Fold in egg whites.
Layer half the squash, then egg mixture, then cheese in rectangular baking dish.
Top with crumbled bacon.
Repeat layers. Mix butter with bread crumbs and sprinkle over top. (Add Parmesan cheese, if desired.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves about 8.
