Mattie'S Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bag dry pinto beans
3 c. chicken broth
2 large onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 c. Monterey cheese
8 large tortillas
1 large ham hock
2 lb. ground beef
1 can green chilies
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. black pepper
1 c. celery, chopped
Preparation

Soak pinto beans overnight.
Next day, drain beans and rinse well.
Place beans in large pot with ham hock.
Let it cook.
When the beans are ready, cut up the ham hock with the beans (chop fine).
Cook the beans with chicken broth.
