Mexican Hot Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium-size ripe tomatoes
    4 large onions
    6 green hot peppers
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel and slice or chop tomatoes.
    Add chopped onions and diced peppers.
    Add other ingredients and cook for 3 hours very slowly on low heat.
    Stir often.
    Place in jars while hot and seal. Ready to eat when it is cool.
    Yields 4 pints.
