Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sage-flavored bulk pork sausage
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
6 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 qt. milk
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of Worcestershire sauce
dash of hot pepper sauce
your favorite biscuits (about 6)
Preparation

Crumble sausage into a large saucepan.
Cover and cook over medium to low heat.
Add onion; cook and stir until transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.
Stir in flour; cook over medium to low heat about 6 minutes or until mixture thickens
while stirring.
Spoon gravy over biscuit halves.
