Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. orange jello
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. pecan pieces
    1 c. sliced cherries
    2 small cans crushed pineapple
    1 banana, sliced
Preparation
    Mix jello and water.
    Chill until it starts to gel.
    Drain pineapple and add to jello.
    Stir in fruits and nuts.
    Chill.
    Can be served on lettuce.
