Rafferty'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 1/2 c. or more milk
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook potatoes and onion in water until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cream cheese until melted.
    Add rest of ingredients and serve hot.
