Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    6 large eggs
    3 scant c. sugar
    1 small can Carnation milk, plus enough water to make 1 c.
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar, Crisco and butter until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each.
    Sift flour before measuring, then add baking powder and salt.
    Sift twice more.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla.
    Pour into a 10-inch tube pan that has been greased and floured.
    Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done, at 325\u00b0.
