Clouds At Sunrise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    6 egg whites
    2 c. crushed graham crackers
    2 c. whipped cream
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat egg white until frothy.
    Add cream of tartar, then gradually add sugar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Fold in graham crackers, nuts and vanilla.
    Spread in buttered 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
    Bake 25 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
    Spread whipped cream over top and spoon pie filling over cream.
    Chill.
