Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck or round
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 qt. tomatoes, blended in blender
    1 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    4 garlic pods, crushed
    2 Tbsp. ground cumin
    2 Tbsp. oregano, crushed
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. onion salt
    1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 whole jalapenos
    1 can beer (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion and garlic.
    Drain fat.
    Add beer.
    Simmer about 30 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and tomato paste; simmer 15 minutes.
    Add all seasoning, stirring well after each one.
    Add jalapenos, whole.
    Cook on low for about 4 hours.
    Remove jalapenos.
    Cook 2 more hours or slow cook overnight in crock-pot.
