Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1 loaf French bread
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Cut French bread in half lengthwise. Brown ground beef in skillet. Add tomato soup, onion, Parmesan cheese, ketchup, bell pepper, oregano, salt and garlic salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Spread meat mixture on cut sides of bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil until cheese is bubbly. Cut into diagonal slices.
