Croutons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices loaf bread
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. parsley (if desired)
Preparation
    Put bread on a cookie sheet and let \"stale\" in a warm oven, turning frequently, or you can leave bread out on countertop for about 5 hours and let \"stale.\"
    Melt butter.
    Add garlic powder, salt and parsley.
    Brush butter mixture on both sides of bread. Cut bread into cubes.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until bread is toasty brown on bottom.
    Turn bread over and brown on the other side.
    Leftover croutons keep well in a Tupperware bowl.
