Cayman Custard Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
6 large or 8 medium eggs
1 stick butter or oleo
2 c. water
2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. coconut extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together. Put aside.
Melt butter; beat well with eggs.
Mix in sugar, water, milk and rest of the ingredients.
Blend with dry ingredients until smooth.
Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch glass pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0. Custard should be lightly brown and will set as it cools.
