Sour Cream Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 sq. bitter chocolate
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. boiling water or hot coffee
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour; measure
    and
    re-sift 3 times with soda and salt. Melt chocolate
    over
    hot
    water;
    cool.
    Cream fat and sugar. Add sugar
    and
    eggs
    and
    beat until fluffy.
    Stir in melted chocolate.
    Add flour alternately with sour cream.
    Add vanilla, then stir
    in
    coffee or water.
    Bake in lined 8-inch tins or muffin tins.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0.
