Cheesy Fish Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. shredded American or Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 lb. boneless cod fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cook onion in oleo until tender.
    Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Blend well.
    Add milk, stirring constantly until thick.
    Add cheese; stir until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    In medium saucepan, dissolve bouillon in water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add fish and simmer until fish flakes easily.
    Add to cheese mixture.
    Stir until well blended.
    Reheat to serve.
