Great Grandmother'S Russian Teacakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
    Measure flour by dipping method.
    Stir flour & salt together; blend in and mix in nuts.
    Chill dough over night.
    Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    Roll dough in 1 in. balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Cookies do not spread.
    Bake 10-12 minutes or until set but not brown, while still warm roll cookie balls in powdered sugar then roll in sugar a second time.
