Sour Cream Apple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. Corn Chex cereal, crushed to 1 c.
1 c. flour sifted
2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. salted mixed nuts, chopped
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. apples, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl combine Chex crumbs, flour, brown sugar and butter.
Blend at low speed with mixer until crumbly.
Stir in nuts.
Press 2 3/4 cups evenly into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
