Hard Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

powdered sugar
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. flavoring oil
coloring
Preparation

Sprinkle an 18 x 24-inch strip of heavy-duty aluminum foil with powdered sugar.
Mix first 3 ingredients in large, heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310\u00b0 or until drops of syrup form hard threads in cold water.
Remove from heat; stir in flavoring oil and coloring.
Pour onto foil.
Cool and break into pieces.
