Green Chili Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, fried and drained
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder or to taste
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 can water
    1 pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 can green chilies or to taste
    1 pkg. corn tortillas
Preparation
    Brown and drain ground beef; add garlic powder, cream of chicken soup and water.
    Layer in the following order in a casserole dish:
    tortillas, cheese and meat mixture.
    This mixture makes a casserole of 3 to 4 layers.
    Any cheese that is left may be put on top.
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
