1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. melted butter or oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add milk, oil and vanilla in a baking dish.
Mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
Add about 1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped pecans to batter. Sprinkle over batter and pour hot water over entire mixture.
Do not stir.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until it tests done. Serve warm.
Makes a pudding on the bottom.
