Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    2 lemons
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Add well beaten egg yolks, then add milk gradually and stir until smooth.
    Then cook in a double boiler until thick.
    Add the juice and grated rind of 2 lemons and pour in a baked 9-inch pie shell.
    Top with beaten egg whites to which 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla has been added.
    Bake until golden brown.
