Strawberry Parfait - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of nutmeg
    6 whole strawberries
Preparation
    Combine gelatin and boiling water in a mixing bowl, stirring to dissolve.
    Add strawberries and let stand for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    In a separate bowl, beat cream until stiff, but not dry.
    Blend in sugar and vanilla.
    Spoon alternate layers of both mixtures into parfait glasses, ending with cream mixture.
    Dash tops with nutmeg and garnish with a whole, fresh strawberry.
