Homemade Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed tomatoes
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    2 onions, chopped
    1/2 stick butter or margarine (put into tomatoes)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    salt and pepper
    6 slices bread
Preparation
    Put tomatoes into Dutch oven pan.
    Add the butter, sugar and cloves.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Brown the onions, celery and additional 1/4 stick butter in frying pan until lightly browned; set aside.
