Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. fresh fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease 11 x 7 glass baking dish. Combine fruit, 1/2 c. sugar and water in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil stirring frequently.
    Keep mixture hot.
    Meanwhile with spoon, beat egg, sugar and margarine until fluffy.
    Add milk. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Spread batter in prepared pan. Pour hot fruit on top.
    Bake 25-30 minutes.
    Serve warm with cream.
    Serves 6.
