Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 3/4 cup melted margarine. Take half of the cake mixture and spread on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
    Melt caramels with remaining 1/3 cup milk. After cake mixture is baked, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
    Spread the caramel mixture over top.
    Drop remaining cake batter on top. Bake for an additional 15 to 18 minutes.
    Cool and cut into squares.
