Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. whole milk
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar and milk about 7 minutes until a bit of it forms a soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla.
    Beat while cooling pan in sink of cold water until fudge thickens.
    Add walnuts if desired.
    Keep beating until it holds a form.
    Turn onto buttered dinner plate.
    When firm, cut into squares.
    Makes 24 to 36, depending on size.
