Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. real butter (room temperature)
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter until fluffy.
Add sugar and beat again until fluffy.
Gradually add flour until dough is soft and smooth.
Pat dough in jelly roll pan or 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until golden.
Remove from oven and cut in squares.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar, if desired.
Let cool in pan and store in airtight container.
Makes about 36 squares.
Do not use oleo.
It won't work!!
