Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. warm water
    6 c. unsifted self-rising flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over shortening; blend and cool.
    Add sugar and egg.
    Sprinkle yeast in warm water and stir until dissolved. Add to mixture.
    Add flour and blend well, beating after each cup. Cover and put in refrigerator.
