Tea Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. water
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Add the egg yolk, water and vanilla.
Beat well.
Add the dry ingredients.
Roll, using more flour if necessary.
Cut and brush with egg white.
Bake in a moderate oven about 10 minutes.
Quite rich and crisp.
