Cold Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 stalks broccoli florets
1 med. red onion, sliced and halved
1 15-oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 lg. can sliced olives
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 peeled and deseeded tomatoes
Salted sunflower seeds
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 clove, crushed
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp. freshly grated Parmesan
Preparation

In a large container with a lid, stir together broccoli florets, red onion, kidney beans, sliced olives, mushrooms, grated sharp cheddar, tomatoes, and salted sunflower seeds to taste. Separately, stir together remaining ingredients and pour over broccoli mixture.
Marinate overnight and it's ready to serve.
