Oyster Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. oysters
    saltine crackers
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
    salt
    pepper
    butter
    milk
Preparation
    Place oysters in layers in baking dish alternately with cracker crumbs and seasonings, onion and celery.
    When dish is full, add the oyster liquor and sufficient milk to moisten.
    Cover with crumbs; dot with butter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour. The last 10 minutes, turn oven up and bake until cracker crumbs are browned golden.
    Serve hot!
