Chicken Breasts In Sour Cream Almond Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 whole chicken breasts, halved and boned
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken stock
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. minced tarragon
    salt and pepper
    1 c. sour cream
    3/4 c. grated Gruyere cheese
Preparation
    Saute chicken in butter until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
    Remove from skillet. Add onion and garlic.
    Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add tomato paste and flour.
    Stir until blended and smooth.
    Gradually add chicken stock and sherry. Cook and stir about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened.
    Return chicken to skillet.
    Add almonds, tarragon, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until tender.
