French Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking cocoa
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. milk or cream
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. melted grape jelly
    nuts
Preparation
    Beat
    together
    sugar and egg.
    Add cocoa, cinnamon and milk, very slowly.
    Stir in flour.
    Add baking soda dissolved in
    the jelly.
    Pour
    into
    loaf pan.
    Scatter some nuts over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
