Apple Walnut Rice Stuffing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. chopped celery and chopped onion
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 tart apples, chopped
1 1/2 c. Minute rice, uncooked
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Melt margarine in large saucepan on medium-high heat.
Add celery, onion and poultry seasoning.
Cook and stir until onion is tender.
Add broth and bring to boil.
Stir in apples, rice and cinnamon; cover.
Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in walnuts and parsley.
Makes 8 servings.
