Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 pt. fig preserves (including liquid)
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Mash figs with a potato masher.
Mix sugar and oil together. Sift all of the dry ingredients.
Mix all together.
Bake in a greased and floured pan.
For the grease, use spray Pam.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
