Pink Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1 pkg. jello (strawberry, raspberry or cherry)
    1 small carton cottage cheese
    1 pkg. Dream Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Boil pineapple for 2 minutes.
    Add Jell-O and boil 2 more minutes.
    Cool; fold in cottage cheese and Dream Whip.
    Add nuts. Chill until firm.
