Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. small cubes dry bread
    4 c. milk, scalded
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Soak bread pieces in milk for 5 minutes.
    Add butter, salt, sugar and raisins.
    Pour slightly beaten eggs over bread mixture. Add vanilla and mix well.
