Island Chicken With Plums - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 lb. chicken parts
    salt and black pepper
    2 1/4 c. boiling water
    3 tsp. chicken soup base
    1 c. apricot nectar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. drained chopped plums
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
    1/3 c. peach preserves
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 medium clove garlic, crushed
    cooked rice
Preparation
    The Farmers' Fair was held at Penn School every year in late October.
    Here
    farm families displayed their harvest and livestocks.

    to the best harvest and guest speakers came from\tthe

    States Department of Agriculture, Clemson College and other agricultural schools.
