Ingredients

3 sticks butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. vanilla
3 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. evaporated milk
3 drops almond flavoring
1 pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Mix flour and baking powder.
Add alternately with milk and flavorings.
Fold in coconut.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool on wire rack. Take out of pan after 15 minutes.
