Reduced Fat Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. semi-sweet morsels
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. applesauce
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
    3 egg whites
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt one cup morsels, sugar, applesauce and margarine in large saucepan over low heat until smooth. Remove pan from heat; add egg whites and stir well.
    Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining morsels and nuts.
    Spread mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 16 to 20 minutes.
    Cool and cut in squares.
