Margie'S Holupki (Cabbage Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped fine
    salt and pepper to taste
    5 slices bacon, chopped
    1 c. instant rice
    1 egg
Preparation
    Wilt cabbage leaves by scalding in boiling water.
    Drain and pat dry.
    Cut out heavy ribs.
    Saute onion with bacon until transparent.
    Drain off most of the drippings.
