Welsh Rarebit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. diced sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    a few grains cayenne
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 to 1 c. evaporated milk
    1 egg yolk
Preparation
    Stir Cheddar cheese in butter and melt slowly. Add salt, dry mustard, cayenne and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in slowly the evaporated milk with water. Remove from heat and beat in egg yolk. Serve at once over hot buttered toast.
