Play Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. oil
1/2 c. salt
1 c. water
food coloring

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients in saucepan.
Add liquids and cook over medium heat until thickened and mixture leaves side of pan.
Pour onto wax paper.
Let cool slightly, then knead until mixture is smooth.
Store in airtight container.
