French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    4 pieces bread
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    cinnamon and sugar
    maple syrup or jam
Preparation
    Break the eggs and put them into a mixing bowl.
    Add the milk, vanilla and salt.
    Use a fork to mix well.
    Put frying pan on stove over low heat.
    Put the butter into pan and spread it as it melts. Put a piece of bread into mixture and soak it.
    Then put it into the frying pan.
    Do this for all pieces of bread.
    Cook the pieces until they are brown on one side, then turn over and brown the other side.
    Eat right away!
    Can put cinnamon and sugar on it or maple syrup or jam.
    Yields 2 servings.
