Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large onions, sliced fine
    1 large green pepper, diced
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 tsp. chili pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions and green pepper until tender.
    Add meat and brown until crumbly.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes.
