Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. softened Philly cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion or chives
    8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerator quick crescent Italian flavor dinner rolls
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
    3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons
Preparation
    Blend the cream cheese with the 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion or chives.
    Mix well.
    Separate the rolls into 4 rectangles.
    Seal perforations.
    Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
    Pull 4 corners of dough to center of mixture; seal. Brush top with 1 tablespoons melted margarine. Dip in seasoned croutons.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
    Refrigerate leftovers.
