Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    graham cracker crumbs
    4 or 5 bananas
    1/2 gal. neopolitan flavored ice cream
    1 c. chopped nuts, divided
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Line bottom
    of
    a
    13\tx

    x
    2-inch pan with graham cracker
    crumbs.
    Slice
    bananas and place over crumbs.
    Slice ice cream and place over banana layer; sprinkle 1/2 cups nuts. Freeze until firm.
    Combine sugar, milk and chocolate chips in a
    medium saucepan;
    cook
    over low heat until thick.
    Remove from
    heat; add
    vanilla.
    Cool
    completely.
    Pour
    chocolate mixture over ice cream layer;
    spread Cool Whip over top, then sprinkle
    with remaining
    nuts.
    Freeze
    until
    serving time. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.\tYield: 9 to 12 servings.
