Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 bunches broccoli
    1 medium red onion, chopped
    1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried and chopped
    1 c. yellow cheese, shredded
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash and cut off tops of broccoli.
    Discard stems.
    Cut into bite size pieces and put into large bowl.
    Add onion and bacon. Add 1 cup cheese.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar in a small bowl until well blended.
    Add to broccoli mixture and stir to coat.
    Serve at once or chill.
