German'S Chocolate Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy.
    Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating to very stiff peaks.
    Fold in vanilla and nuts. Spoon into lightly greased 8-inch pie pan to form nest-like shell; build sides up 1/2-inch above edge of pan.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Cool.
