Danish Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

big, almost ripe cucumbers
2 qt. vinegar
1 qt. water
3 c. sugar
pickling onions
12 rounds black pepper
4 Tbsp. each red and green pepper flakes (dehydrated)
Preparation

Peel cucumbers. Cut in half and remove seeds. Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
Rinse in cold water and dry with paper towel or drain.
Boil cucumbers in vinegar mixture to a rolling boil.
Put in jars and seal.
