Oriental Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    3 green onions, chopped
    1/2 can (1/4 c.) water chestnuts, drained
    1/4 c. pineapple tidbits (with juice)
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/4 c. chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, carrots, pepper, onions, water chestnuts and pineapple.
    In a small bowl mix vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar. Mix into vegetables.
    Marinate several hours.
    Add chow mein noodles just before serving.
